I have been in the move management and organizing business since 2019, primarily helping seniors downsize or relocate. After working for other companies, I have been self-employed since 2023. Along with on-the-job experience from central Massachusetts to Cape Cod, I have attended NASMM (National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers) conferences and have training through this professional organization.
I will work around your busy schedule and consult with you on all aspects of your move or project to ensure that things are completed according to your preferences and time frame. You are my priority, and I strive to treat each customer, and those supporting them, like family.
Multi-tasking and attention to detail have always been intuitive to me. Plus, I have a geology degree, and I always had to have a plan as a middle school math and high school science teacher. My husband refers to me as "the octopus," juggling multiple things at once with ease.
When it comes to significant events in your life like relocating, a good plan and the ability to adapt, like an octopus, are key!
Windswept is the name of my family's cottage on Lake Ontario in upstate NY where I grew up until I was 18. My husband and I have brought our daughters there since they were infants. It is our "Happy Place." Windswept can also be a feeling that clients get when they work with me!
I enjoy building relationships with all people. But I really love listening to seniors' stories about their lives, and even their stuff! I know this is because I lived with my grandparents for many summers, and they were always a significant part of my life.
